How much is hard to say...... I always have a gallon of my "spiked" mulled cider on hand and some lovely Egg Nog with Captain's Private Stock Rum, so there is plenty to drink. This year I am doing an Italian feast for the big dinner, homemade veal Parmesan, pasta fagiole soup, salad, bread, mozzarella stuffed meatballs... mmmm Want to come over?

We have a giant breakfast with the whole family, then we have dinner- this year it'll be prime rib, carrots, spinach and potatoes, with some stuffed shells and tomato sauce for those who don't like to eat meat. We'll put out snacks during the day (cheese and crackers, shrimp cocktail, etc.) and then later on at night a few desserts like a cake and some cookies. As far as drinks go, we'll have some champagne with cranberry juice in the morning, and some martinis later on with dessert!

Lots and Lots to eat.
When we all get up we have a bbq breakfast of ham and eggs and toast. Lunch consists of ham, turkey, chicken, roast pork, coleslaw, potato salad, pasta salad, lettuce, carrot, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, pineapple and a huge bowl of prawns on ice with seafood sauce on the side. Dessert is plum pudding, fruit salad, icecream, custard and cream.
During the afternoon, we cut the watermelon and rockmelon. Afternoon tea we have the christmas cake.

I usually have the Christmas lunch - turkey with all the trimmings, and then I snack a lot the rest of the day on party food, sausages in bacon, gammon, pastries, gateux, chocolates, that kind of thing, and I drink a lot of wine and soda.... ahhh lord help my scale in January.
