I've always got that inner voice telling me I'm not like most people.

I was just reading a book called Stumbling on Happiness, which is about the brain chemistry of happiness, and the author said (as an aside) MOST people think they are different from everyone else.

(-: Of course, I wasn't like most of the people he describes in the book.

Everyone has free will, so yes, in that sense, you are like no one else in the world. But, if you open your eyes up, you'll find there's still a whole lot of people in the world who are like you!

If that voice is telling you that you aren't like other people, so you don't have to follow the rules they do, you might consider counselling.

Yes you're right, you're NOT like most people. Hearing inner voices is not normal, tell them to shut up.
