why do we keep on committing the same mistakes?

This is a simple question. We, humanity, commit that same mistake over and over again because of the underlining predisposition we humans have for greed. It is inherit with our given society -capitalism- and because of this humanity becomes focused on material products and thus give birth to greed. Now, if you aren't just talking about the problems with war, murder, mindless destruction, and religious qualms then you are referring to mistakes on a more personal level. Answer is simple also. Laziness. Who - wants - to - do - something - different? Who wants to eat right? work out? Stop smoking? Why do those? They are hard. The question isnt "Why do we keep committing the same mistake" its "why do we not want to APPLY ourselves to solve our own problems." Let me give you a brief idea and you can brood it for yourself. Have you ever dated someone, then they break up with you, and your like, oh, not my fault, it was THAT persons fault, never my own. Some peopel choose to see their mistakes, some people pass it on as someone ELSES mistake, and moreso, some people simply don't want to change and thus try to rationalize everything into a sort of blame game.

We do not commit the same mistakes for there is no such thing as a "same mistake". Philosophical answer = P
This is a good question though and I think this may be a partial answer.

maximum persons do commit an similar mistake might want to be,because love is affiliate with thoughts viz., soreness and delight. at the same time as our ideas is stimulated by employing soreness and delight there does no longer be a lot area for any rational or impartial wondering. Some of the circumstances will tends us to do that with/without our knowledge ex. Signal jumping in traffic. Some times after commiting that we will realise the real picture. While doing a work in hurry we tend to do the same mistake often. Try to plan, slow steady and then articulate.

try remembering your mistake, instead of how we can make it better.. focus on not doing the mistake.. not how we can make it better, that will eventually come natural to you..
