frist person said it, one of the houses i used to work at we ran humidifiers 24 hours a day and they helped a lot, house im at now is humidity controled and in floor heating so dont have as much problems with the static electricity, you can also set a tea kettle on the back of the stove and just the ambient heat from cooking will help a lil, thats what we did on the farm. also i leave some dryer sheets in cloths that are hanging up like 1 for every 5 sweaters and one or two per drawer to help out

I've had this concern too! I spotted a few feedback approximately dryer sheets and static spray, however I'd watch out of the ones as they don't seem to be intended for cats! Because cats blank themselves by way of licking, they are going to ingest anything you placed on their fur. Not well. I did just like the proposal of the humidifier and the conditioning spray (they have got those who cats can lick). I'll must take a look at choice #two, conditioning spray! Personally, I simply be certain to contact a few steel (that's inconvenient generally) to flooring myself. Touching the steel disperses the electrical cost, and rubber too can aid with static electrical power. Good good fortune!

actually leave a bounce sheet in your winter hats (fleece wool etc type materials like that including down jackets.

Same thing goes for your bedding..try leaving a sheet in your pillow on each side this way it should reduce the static in your hair as well. (also not sure on length of your hair).. but Garnier Frutics (not sure on the spelling of that) has the frizz reducing 'milk' in a pump.

again try leaveing dryer sheets amoungst your clothes in your dresser draws etc. it should reduce or fully take away the static in the house.

& I feel your pain w/ the shocks! i HATE getting them when I get out of the car..

Get a house humidifier. Static is caused by dry air. The spray static release stuff works really well too.

You need a humidity percentage of between 30 and 50. Under 30 causes furniture to crack and your nasal passages to be irritated. Over 50% causes mold.
