The record book will tell you it was the Boston Red Sox. I was pulling for the Colorado Rockies since the Big Red Machine didn't make it.

Where have you been, everybody here knows, or at leat trying to pretend that they don't know that the Boston Red Sox won thier 2nd World Series in 3 years. And plus I think they were more deserving of it in 2004, rather then in 2007. Well because, they went for a really long time without winning the World Series, and so will the next time they win the World Series will be 2010? Who knows, but since that is almost 2 years away, let's not worry about it until then.

i could be mildly shocked. they're a great team, yet their time is in destiny years. they don't have the overwhleming presence in the NL East because of the fact the Mets and Braves do. of course, the NL is a weaker league all jointly than the AL, and while you're actually not the main suitable possible in the NL that's a protracted shot you have of mission to win the worldwide sequence. Ryan Howard has created a great style of hype, yet he can not lead the Phillies to the worldwide sequence. He would have Chase Utley, Jimmy Rollins, Pat Burrell, etc. yet, call 5 sturdy pitchers that would carry that team while they don't look to be up at bat. The Boston Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies in 4 games. However, Colorado had a very memorable streak to get to the world Series, they won 21 of 22 games prior to going into the World Series. Which is unheard of in baseball, normally you won't even see a winning streak reach double digits in the MLB.
