making it hard for people to like me is what others say im doing...but i think i make it hard only for me to lioke me....

Not so much anymore:
I have stopped saying yes to every volunteer position or project asked of me. I'm learning that I don't need to please everyone. It is perfectly OK if somebody is mad at me or dislikes me.
A biggie: I no longer exchange Christmas gifts or cards - my close family and friends have joined me in this. We all spend what we can reasonably afford on causes dear to our hearts. There are numerous benefits to this including lower stress and freedom from debt. Plus we no longer contribute to the toxic commercialism that surrounds the season
Other things I'm working on: Getting rid of STUFF. Not becoming an ascetic, just losing the overwhelming clutter! I ask: Do I actually use it? ("Maybe someday" doesn't count.) Does it have REAL sentimental value? Is it necessary for - or a product of - one of my SERIOUS creative pursuits? If not, it's gone!
This ran a little longer than intended, but I'm very pleased at how this ongoing simplification has made my life less difficult - even in unrelated areas. I guess because I'm not so overwhelmed with my own stuff, I can deal with the outside influences better- I don't know, but it's working.
btw, Luc, you look fetching with black hair, but I was partial to the grey.

Perhaps... I refuse help. I really make a mess out of my love life too. And I prefer to concentrate on those things I am lacking instead of enjoying the things I already do have, which makes me miserable. Eh.
I miss you dammit! That too... missing you makes my life more difficult as well.

but on high tide the motors turn on ans in case of emergency i have a sub pump cause i could drown [so i am the bigger
pump in case it goes to happen !!

Yea kind of......Because I have a problem saying no to people. Especially stupid companies that calls you like everyday to try free stuff that eventually end up make me pay money. Dammit.

i always tend to do this...it seems....i complicate every matter more then i need too....with everything...money,love,friendship....all of it i guess....*sigh*and i dont even try too...
