Yes! I bet a lot of people wouldn't do it, since part of the appeal of the internet for some people is being able to hide behind their words and not be seen/heard. But I would!
I am always curious to see what someone looks & sounds like after I've interacted with them a bunch online. It's always driven me crazy that people are allowed to use their Yahoo avatars as their icons here, since I think they all look too similar for much self-expression... I just get so frustrated seeing the same cartoon faces rather than the actual expression behind the eyes, the set of the mouth... I can't READ people this way like I can in real life (or other sites that use photos or various icons).
Anyway. I think you've hit upon an excellent idea! I hope someone will let me know if people actually start doing it!
