I'd guess the world would like to see Joe Biden or John McCain become president. Both of those men have more foreign affairs experience than any of the other candidates. Plus, to me at least, both men seem to want to do what is right, not what is politically expedient.

At this point? Anyone but Bush. Alas, this is a "careful what you wish for" situation. As much as Bush sucks, we can do worse. So hopefully the people who matter, the America voters, think this one through a little better than their last two Presidential elections.

Not many of the candidates are known around the world. By reading the foreign press I discern a hope for Hillary as she is known and respected and hoping that the US has grown up enough in the 21st century to elect a woman.

HAHA, I would say "Anybody but Bush" but seeing as that he isn't running, I am guessing the rest of the world doesn't give a sh*t. Seriously, it may come as a surprise to a lot of folks, but the world does not revolve around the U.S. We didn't care who the French recently elected for pres, so why should their lot care about our elections if Bush isn't running?
