I live in Michigan and saw the Moon clearly at 3pm. Never seen that b4 is that bcuz the winter soltice?

Yesterday friday 12-21-07 I saw the Moon clearly at 3:00pm. Is this normal or because of the winter soltice. I never saw the moon out that early. And It was full moon too.

No, it is probably because you have been busy at 3pm or the days have been hazy or cloudy when you might be looking. The moon is visible during daylight about half the month, but it is easier to see when it is nearly full than when it is new and easier to see when the sky is clear and relatively little light is being scattered to hide it.
