When India win 3 world cups, win 15 tests in a row, and dominate for 15 years over Australia. Then yes.

'Til then, NO WAY!

Australia is the dominant force, and i play with a few of the under 16 Assure guys in the davidson shield, and if they are anything to go on, then India will have a hard time knocking Australia off of their mantle.

Actually, yes. Indians have a very frightening line-up of the world's most finest batsmen & some of the world's best bowlers.
But our people aren't performing upto their very bests. Instead of spending time practicing, they are wasting their time in clubs & hotels & all that stuff. If there are three days between matches, one day is spent travelling, on practicing & one day enjoying & partying if India wins.

The world champs, Australia have just a few good players. But they have strategy & replay videos again & again and find the weakness of the players. They tell the teams they are goin to play against all sorts of lies and make comments so that they lose their confidence. They then easily overpower them with ease. They have technical knowledge & stamina. They are awsome fielders.

We should learn from them. If we do, we can become the strongest team possible.

India is not the strongest,it is among the strong teams of the world. I personaly feel that no team is the "strongest".One team can be "stronger" than the other but certainly cannot be the strongest.Australia,in some cases,is stronger than India.
All teams are good in something or the other. You can't say that Australia is just perfect for everything.

This is my personal opinion. No abuse to anybody.

No. Maybe when your older players retire you can build your team up again into what it used to be, but at present Australia is the stronger of the two.Having said that, there's always the chance Australia will not turn in one of their better performances this time. You never know.Cheers.

It will be known shortly. If Kumble succeeds in withstanding and countering the brain games played by Australia , India may still win the series.

Australia is.

to the guy who said australia has a couple good players.

australia has an AWESOME batting line up thats our strong point.

india also has a good strong batting line up but they are all old now.

2 years ago australia had an even better line up but a few retirements happened but we had good youth.

hayden ponting clarke hussey symonds...gilly very good batting.

also traditionally to say who is the best team in cricket you would have to really answer that question based on TEST Matches and not ODI (50 over and 20 over because anything can happen on your day).

plus australia has a stronger test team and a weaker ODI team in my opinion.

no,india is the strongest team now.because they play well,in 20/20,ODI,test. they are the champion of 20/20 and became a powerfull team of ODIs and if you see the last test series against pak they make pressure agasinst any team they have exprience players and also the youngers ones i think India will win the test and ODI series ,20/20 against australia

They look strong on paper. But in reality they excel one day only to be pathetic the next day.But things seem to improve a bit. This tour will be the litmus test to Team India.
