Is it true that chinese prefer children to be born in yr of the pig more then any other year?

Hello
I've recently heard that some superstitious Chinese prefer their children to be born in the year of the pig more then any other year?
I asked a few people if this is true and they agreed?
One even went so far as to say, that men and woman that were born in the year of the snake would have difficulty in finding love, but year of the pig children would have much better luck and be far more PUREHEARTED,
Is any of this true?

not just chinese culture even vietnamese and otherasian countries and your right they have more luck. for me things were going pretty bad when my 2nd brother was born and 3 years later on october 28th 2007 my mom had a baby born in the yr of the pig and things for us now are going pretty good its weird though. i think its true some what.

I think that it is true for the most part but there are exception for everything. The day as well as the hour you are born into has an impact on your life also, not just the year. If a person is born into a pig year but snake day, they will have difficulty in love and other areas too. My cousin was born into a metal pig year but water snake day and her life was pretty rough compared to other pig year people. Two more people I know, that were born into pig year, but snake day . They have horrible love life as well.

The reason why snake influence has problem in life is because snake has a problem with letting go of anything. Snake influence hold grudges for a long long time. That's not good for your health, or personal relationship. Snake influence is a guarded untrusting sign. It's influence makes the person insecure, jealous, vengeful. Whatever you put out into the world that's what you'll attract back into your life. Pig influence is usually very forgiving, tolerance, and homely. Again, what you put out is what you'll attract into your life. Simple law of karma.

I have seen many snake year people that are still capable of having healthy relationship and luck in life because the day and hour they are born into can off set the snake influence.

Although snake influence is usually not good for family or personal relationship, a snake sign is a money sign. A snake can make money. There is rarely any poor snake roaming around. Even though a snake is a karmic debt sign, It's not all bad. A snake has great wisdom compared to most of the other signs. A know a handful of healers and astrologers born into snake year.

As far as pig babies go. This year is a pig year and at least 5 people I know had their babies this year. They all told me their babies are very easy and pleasant to be around. I guess the only way to know for sure is to have a pig baby.


I do noticed that my friends that are born into pig year have a much easier time in life. It seems like they get things handed to them all the time without having to work very hard like other people. Could that be count as luck? who knows.

This belief is so strong that it permeates every Asian culture ranging from Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong, and many other countries.

and i guess the four pillars do play a major role.
I don't know how much of the whole astrology thing to honestly believe and the reason i asked, was because a chinese friend once remarked, that his sister was a snake, and Poor her, since she would have much difficulty finding love and her only having been 12, she was already the jealous secretive and lying type at that age.
he had also wished she was a pig, like both his mother and grandfather, since according to him, they had the best hearts of all.

NO!!! What you heard is totally wrong.
Children born in the year of Snake is considered to be the most beautiful and is a first choice for arranged marriages even more desirable than those born in the year of Dragon which is supposed the be the luckiest when it comes to business.
People born in the year of the pig is supposedly the charismatic, loving and earthly type.

I was born in a year of the pig and I wish it had been some other animal. That's because of the common perception that pigs are dirty, gluttonous, and lazy animals.
