can you breastfeed if your on the shot?

i resently gave birth im only 19 i decided to go on the shot but i never asked the doc if i could still breastfeed. so i stop any1 that can help

you were allowed to breastfeed your baby,,,even your on the shot,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

if you were using pills you were not allowed to breastfeed
