I would like to know if Uthium is the same as lithium? I did some research, but I'm still confused! Thanks.

Uthium does not exist (one "proof" is no article on it in Wikipedia). If you look at the returns in Google Search for Uthium, you will find that they are all scanned documents - mostly PDF. The links that show you the original make it clear that scanning and other interpretation turn LI into U, making Lithium into Uthium. The error can be seen most clearly when a page is talking about lithium grease or lithium for mood control and uthium suddenly appears.

I think Uthium is a bad copy or a bad scan of the word Lithium.

Think about Li from a scanner's point of view, the two letters could be combined into what looks like a U.

Never heard of "uthium", so it is probably a misprint.
