That happened to me once that I can remember. My dad, my brother, and I were watching Transformers, and it was after midnight and it still wasn't over yet, and though I love the movie dearly, I fell asleep about 45 minutes before it was over. But the weird part was, the second it was over, I instantly woke up. It was weird....but then I was sad because I had missed the end of the movie. I've seen it before, but, I was still sad that I missed the end. But that was the only time it happened, so I didn't need to worry about turning the tv off.

Yes I often fall asleep in front of the T.V. and I turn it off when I wake up. So it runs until I wake up.

One time I fell asleep watching TV and I woke up in the land of Narnia. I was so scared. I thought it was real. The dream was so vivid. It was snowing and I was really cold...
Anyway, to get back on track, the TV was still on when I woke up at 4 am. So I got up, turned it off and went to bed.

All the time! I almost always put in a movie to go to sleep by. Sleep timer on TV turns off sometimes, otherwise just switch 'er off in the morning.

I have and I'm ashamed of the fact. I know how to use the timer but I didn't. Sleeping with the television is unhealthy as I had it on the Sci-fi channel and could not believe the dreams I had.....That will never happen again...besides look at all the energy I wasted.

I have many times. I switch it off when I wake up from being too cold, because I didn't have a blanket on. I have never left it on all night, mainly because the infomercials kept repeating and waking me up.
