I heard this referred to and I don't know what it is? Is it a religious ritual?

B - Bilbo B seems to have given some concrete information directly from Islamic sources. The website he referred to is IN ARABIC and a site for strictly Islamic discussion. How can you say this is just lies? The other source he cited:

That is why the Prophet used to place his male member between her thighs and massage it, as the prophet had control of his male member not like other men.

Muhammad said that he had dreamed of Aisha before demanding her from her father, and his own brother in Islam, Abu Bakr, claiming special ‘prophets rights’ when Abu Bakr was reluctant to give her to him.

The Prophet said, "You are my brother in Allah's religion and His Book, but she (Aisha) is lawful for me to marry."

Marriage to a female already offered to another was illegal in Arab law. Abu Bakr had already arranged for Aisha to marry Djubayr Mutim.

Muhammad married ‘A’isha in Mecca when she was a child of six and lived with her in Medina when she was nine or ten. She was the only virgin that he married. Her father, Abu Bakr, married her to him and the apostle gave her four hundred dirhams. thanks anonymous...many people get this information from sources that may not even be practicing Islam as it should be...many hadiths are weak and not verified to be true...no one truly knows when the Prophet married Aisha, but I highly doubt that she was that young, probably was closer to 19 than 9. If the Prophet (saws) didn't allow young men to join war until 15, then Aisha probably was about 16 and not 6, when he married her. People who agree with perversion probably did change the age to suit their desires and blamed it on the Prophet(saws). By the way, actually read and understand GOD's word before assuming things that come from rumors and purposeful insults.

You guys need to calm the **** down. The practice is disgusting BUT it is not widespread. As for A'isha (R.A) she was 19 years old at the time of their marriage. That's all. And Bilbo B, please don't talk about stuff you know nothing about.
