While many of us don't know how to handle success...many others do. Not every successful person finds hatred at the end of the rainbow...some give back to their communites, or to charities. Some help animals, the environment, etc. Success does not always go hand-in-hand with hatred.

Success does not only bring hatred in the end. Success brings wonderful feelings of accomplishment, improvement in one's life, and the respect of others.

First, success is a very subjective matter. But I assume you are talking about materialistic success (i.e. wealth). So..

I don't think (materialistic) success brings hatred. Hatred is product of other negativities such as: intolerance, prejudice, stereotyping, generalization, ego, negative competition, etc.

Anyone can be (materialistically) successful without having any hatred. And, with good heart, s/he can help others with his/her wealth. Example: Bill Gates, Warren Buffett , John D. Rockefeller, etc. So.. Be successful, then help people.

If one stays true to one's inner self, inner sense, innocence, then one tends to balance love, wisdom, and power, which is important in learning to earn and vocation.

Then, one's success, perhaps only up to the middle rungs of the ladder, is more genuine, authentic, lovingly kind, truly knowing.

To be working "beyond one's true nature" is to be stressed, inauthentic, to inordinate degrees. Better a little with God, than a lot as a mess of pottage.

One person who realized this is Martha Beck, Ph.D., who now writes for "Mademoiselle." She wrote "Expecting Adam," a warm, funny, and profound book about her pregnancy at Harvard.

Another insightful book is leading tennis pro David Wheaton's "University of Destruction," about his days at Stanford.

A book about high school, also well-written, is Alexandra Robbins' "The Overachievers."

"The Path of Virtue," Jonathan Murro, "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, and "Man, Master of His Destiny," O. M. Aivanhov, are good about describing how to be successful in a world which too often promotes a distortion of true success.

Remember hatred is for people who are mean . so if your success brings hatred.. that kind hatred is only for who are jealous and are not successful ..... Every persons goal is to get successful but as they say "Man proposes God disposes"
Remmber everybody cant be successful until they try and try till god accepts.. their proposal...

Depends on definition of sucess. If in terms of money none are for the reason Humans have been domesticated and are stuck with ideology and have to follow ideas. One in particular destroying planet taking out the guts of it. If not then could be more sucessfull. Premise was this man was First Domesticated Animal one which domesticated itself. Unique.

That is an urban legend.
Most of the time, success brings groupies, fans, fame, and loss of privacy.
Why be successful? because if it was not you, it will be someone else. Thats life.

no I don;t wonder b/c your premise is flawed.

Think about it.. if success ONLY brought hatred, would it be so popular? It obviously brings far more than that

I don't think so since there will always be winners and losers. In the Olympic competition they are the world's best athletes. There is always one winner. But those that do not win still can strife for their own personal best record.

And this is true for life in general.
