I made a 2 hr imovie. I can't figure out how to best compress it so I can burn it and watch on a regular DVD.

I am assuming you have a DVD authoring program
Here are some good settings

Use VBR (variable bit rate) if possible
Use at least 6 Mbits/s for video
Use 720x480 (or 704x480) as picture resolution

I don't know what kind of camera you are using? Most cameras should work.There is alot of ways you could put it on DVD.Make sure all your final work is done.Then get DVD RECORDER. THE camera should hook right into the recorder.You will have to program the recorder in the order to fit your format.
