To me "pretty" winds up somehow not having a lot to do with physical appearance, but more to do with internal characteristics that I find attractive. (Though there are some physical characteristics which I find abhorrent.)

Pretty to me physically is all in the smile and eyes. There is too much emphasis on outward physical appearance anymore. I was a fat kid growing up and I'm still a big guy and through being picked on in school and watching it done to other people I can't stand it anymore. People need to learn that everyone is beautiful in their own way and we all have something about us that is "pretty" even though it may not be physical.

A woman who has a cute look to her and has nice shaped lips, kinda a pouting mouth. She has a round face and is not to heavy and not to skinny. Then she should be kind, sweet, loving, and honest. If a woman is nice and so on then she can go from looking average to pretty and even beautiful in my eyes. Also she should not use or wear a lot of makeup. I like girls who look almost like they would without anything on their face. To much makeup is a real turn off for me. I like more of a natural look to a woman's face. That's the best way I can describe what pretty is to me. I mean pretty is one of those things one can not really describe, yet when they see it they know it. =)

It depends on how it is said. When someone said " She is pretty" that means she is nice to look at in obvious ways . When someone said"she has a pretty face". That means she falls short in overall beauty.

On the outside: Having an attractive pleasant face that is graceful and appealing rather than outstandingly beautiful.

On the inside: Having a generous warm compassionate nature.

My name means "artful and creative". At least my mom says that that is what the baby book said. lol. Uhm, because...Our names give us a sense of identity in the physical world, and our souls are the source of our identity in the spiritual world. Therefore, in a spiritual sense, to be aware of one's own identity is to be aware of the nature of their own soul.

Pretty to me means have confidence in yourself, knowing that you are a good person at heart. Being pretty means sticking up for anyone, and everyone who is wrongly attacked, pretty for me, describes my sweetie!

"Soul Mates and Twin Flames," Elizabeth Clare Prophet--what "pretty" means to me, is soul-to-soul resonance.

to me pretty is a state of both physical attractiveness, and a attitude that is both understated and powerful. like the girl who hangs out with guys but still is obviously femine without it being pure sexual. like comfortable and attractive. i don't know trying to describe a concept i have never put in words before is difficult

Pretty means Mariposa!
Or maybe it means that you mildly enjoy the look of whatever the pretty object is. The girl or flower!
