The Red Sox. The rest of America is sick of everything involving Boston right now. This year we've had to deal with Boston College, the Red Sox, the Patriots, the Celtics and the Revolution.

As you stated, the Yankees have to be number one hated baseball team, probably followed by the Red Sox. In the National League, I would say probably the Dodgers are near the top of the list, followed by the Braves.

The most hated team in baseball is the Yankees period. I have traveled all over the country and some places overseas and the concensus I find is the next most hated team is the Dodgers.

Nobody likes Boston these days because they've become Yankees Jr. It also doesn't help that literally every other Boston professional sports franchise is mopping up (except the Bruins, but even they're not that bad). Those two factors combined create hostile feelings towards the city and its baseball team.

Okay, I don't know why so many people said the Braves. I have never met someone that hated the Braves. The most hated team is probably the Red Sox, everyone said it because it is true. However, where I come from, Oakland, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are hated because thay always beat the A's. Also the Dodgers are hated by Bay Area Natives.

I think they Red Sox are the next Yankees. There fame is rising, they are building an empire. With that comes hate. Once people get tired of being on the Red Sox bandwagon, they will start hating them.

Y r the yankees hated? Because the are simly the best team in baseball, and the history of baseball, you have to admit it, 26 world chamsionships, how many do the red sox have 5 or 6. They are not really hated but envied. I hate the Boston Red Sox, they are a very unclassy team that lack respect for baseball.

Being a Red Sox fan, I would say the Yankees. But if you're a Yankees fan, then it would definitley be the Red Sox. Sports in Boston are going incredibly well right now and (of course!) Boston haters don't want to see that.
Take the Red Sox & Patriots. The teams both used to be the "underdogs". Now the "underdogs" are coming out on top! Us Red Sox & Pats fans who have waited patiently are finally seeing our teams win are happy...but non-New England and Boston fans? They're upset.

I'd say it's a toss up between the Dodgers, the Braves, and the Red Sox.
Personally, I hate the Braves and Red Sox. I also hate the Cubs for being so content to be bad for so long while the team is mega-rich and still sold out every game. I hate teams that pocket revenue-sharing money (I'm looking at you, Florida Marlins) but I think that the Royals are doing the right thing by using it to improve their team.
