I was actually going to ask this earlier, because of a question I asked awhile ago in response to an NHL.com poll.

Here's the question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjyizLq3cJ3gJHEdsLPfVYbty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070806131550AAubx1v

Wow. How have some of those duos panned out? Lol.

2EIGHTY8 - Yup, you've had too much nog. :P
Malone's played great this season, but I'm not ready to consider him part of a serious scoring duo. More of a lucky garbageman. Malkin and Sid haven't played together much, so as to spread the offense out... but when they do play together, they do pretty well.

LAWNJESUS - Haha, "Zets" and "Dats". I like that. :)
TBL - HAHA. I always remind my friend of that ("THEY HAVE A SONG!") so it's always refreshing to know that there's someone else out there exclaiming it often.
AWESOMEBILL - Aww. You Flyers fans can be sad about Biron, but at least he's not... Ty Conklin. His very name strikes fear in the heart... and nausea in the stomach! Blegh.

SCIFIENTIST - Malkin & Crosby were linemates (even-strength) the last two games. They're always linemates on the powerplay.
AWESOMEBILL - Conks won us a game... But it could have been a fluke. Haha.

Lecavalier and St. Louis have 93 pts in 35 games.

Zetterberg and Datsyuk have 92 pts in 35 games (they weren't on NHL.com's list?!? Odd.)

Had Jason been healthy all season perhaps Spezza and Alfredsson would be the leading duo.

(Crosby/Malkin would be fun to see... too bad they aren't linemates.)

Those three pairings have been phenomenal this year and are my picks as the dominant duos in the NHL this year.

Hands down Pavel Datysuk and Henrik Zetterberg, The Eurotwins. They simply cannot be stopped from attacking, they are so dominant. They have rediculous chemistry and put up points every night in boatloads. A close second would be Lecalvier and St. Louis. They're dynamite

I know Im a homer, but Zetterberg is 2nd in the league in points with 50 and Datsyuk is 9th with 42, so they get my vote.

Marty and Vinny run away with this award, Erica. No contest.

They KNOW where each other is, and where they are goin to be.

Plus they have a song!
