I don't know what kind of breast surgery you will be having but if it is a mastectomy they will probably give you a special bra to wear during part of your stay in the hospital and then after a day or two they will put an ace bandage around the area to give additional support.

For after a sports bra is a good idea for additional support.

I found this out not too long ago when my mom had a mastectomy for breast cancer.

To find a sports bra try checking places like Wal-Mart and Target (if they have a Target up there) or even athletic shops.
