Neidermeyer is returning, the ex-captain that helped lead them to the cup last year, are you ppl forgetting this. I could sit here and list many reasons why the ducks are an amazing team and yet no one seems to be willing to put their support behind them.
Everytime the ducks do something right, it is luck, everytime they fail, it is predestined. Make up your freaking mind and know that the ducks are the team to take the cup this year!!!!!
One last note: how can you badmouth a team just under the top ten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny... Anyone worth their salt WON'T want to play the Ducks in the playoffs this year... that's NOT underestimating them. That's respecting them. All that hate thrown Anaheims way isn't because they're lucky - it's because they're good. If you're a Ducks fan you should be embracing it. Nobody HATES the Kings... they laugh at them... Would you rather be L.A.?
As far as those who think the Ducks are a one trick pony... look again. They've won more playoff series than any other team over the last four seasons... and they're certainly in the thick of things in the Pacific division. A bunch of goons? Maybe... for sure they're a physical team that's not afraid to take penalties. No skill? Give me a break... Niedermayer, Schnieder, Getzlaf, Perry, Giguere, etc. are all highly skilled players.
How will they do? Well they may not win the cup... but so long as San Jose continues to show it can't beat Detroit or Anaheim, they're still one of the two teams to beat in the West.

The Ducks are a joke, and will join the ranks, of the teams that won the Cup, then failed to make the playoffs the next year. The only reason you care, is because you are a sheep, thats follows any team that wins. Just under the top 10???? Why dont you say, they are just a middle of the road team then??? Does it sound better saying just under top 10?? Sounds like your a little insecure about your little Quackers.

Oh, give me a break. EVERY team has people who do this to them, especially if their team has some success. You're not starting any new club here. I've been a Red Wings fan all my life, and people bad mouth them all the time, despite the fact that they have consistently been one of the top few teams in the league for over 15 years. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. All that matters is that big, silver Cup next June. Who cares what people say about your team in freakin' December?

Nobody is underestimating the Ducks. Who cares about them other than Anaheim?
They are a team of goons with no skill players. We'll see how well they do against the Sharks tonight. They both are having bad years and their games against each other have been interesting, to say the least.

I repesct the Duck, Burke has more then shook off Gordon Bombay Gin and has a tough SKILLED team. Seeing Pronger in HD made me realzie how hugh that SOB is. (thank god the St. Louis Blues kept Walt and 100 lb Weight in 05')
You shouldn't worry look at Ron Wilson and his booze buddy sandis ozolinsh san jose sharks and how the ducks took them behind the old woodshed this week
