Apple...
OSX is the most stable, secure, and user friendly system on the market. It's beautiful and built for performance. My 7 year old PowerMac G4 runs the latest release of OSX like a champ! And because OSX is written to actually optimize system resources and not be a bloated turd like Windows, my 7 year old PowerMac out performs my wife's 1 year old PC... which just happens to be a high-end Dell.
Anyone who says they can't run "****" haven't been paying attention. Most every application available for PCs, are not available for Macs, and 9 times out of 10, they are better and faster on a Mac. MS Office is leaps and bounds far more superior than its PC counterpart. And if there's an application that you use for PC but isn't available for Mac, chances are, there's an alternative application that's cheaper and better. Like iWork for instance. It's far more advanced and is actually fun to use and easy to make beautiful documents and presentations... sells for what... $80? Oh, and you can save to MS Office documents from it. But then, why would you want to?
Also, Apple's customer service is the best in the industry. I used to work for one of the biggest PC makers in the world and a day after your warranty was up with them you were dirt. I've only had one hardware failure in my system and it was in the 6th year, 3 years after the warranty was up, and it was an expensive part to boot.... my local Apple Store replaced it on site for free. You won't get that level of service from any other company in the game. Trust me.
Another reason Apple over PC.... more and more people whose salaries are paid from the sell of PCs are switching to Macs. An uncle of mine had gotten so frustrated from losing out on family time from constantly having to fix all of the PCs in his house and the house of his daughters whenever he would visit, that he finally replaced all of the PCs in his house with Macs and even replaced all the computers at his daughters house cross-state with Macs... and he hasn't had to troubleshoot one problem since... when the people selling/making them don't even trust them enough to have them in their own homes... why would anyone else want a PC in theirs?
Some people will say that they're overpriced... Yes, they are more expensive than a PC, but are they really? How much is your time worth? In 7 years I haven't had to troubleshoot a single problem apart from a hardware failure in the 6th year of this systems life. I've not had one single software crash/system crash, no viruses, no spyware/malware, and I haven't needed any extraneous application constantly running in the background sucking up my system resources to help protect me from these things either. In the time that I've had my PowerMac I would have already burned through 3 PCs and would be gearing up to burn through my 4th... which would have cost me in the end more than triple what I paid for my Mac... and the hassle free experience was well worth the money.
Some people will say that Mac users are like a cult... well yeah, you get burned enough by a sucky system whose primary goal is to make a million bucks... and then you find something that was everything you'd hoped for and more... yeah, you get a little passionate about it. Apple's primary goal when they're creating their products is to create a work of art! The are all about the user experience, and they want it to be a great one! This truth is evident right down to the packaging of each and every product they sell.... opening their products is fun and exciting and they make sure to make it that way.
I switched 7 years ago and after having wasted 20+ years constantly dealing with Windows problems, I'll never go back.

As an established PC proprietor (I have had one PC or one other over the direction of the final 15+ years) I can vouch for his or her execs and cons all day. They are regularly the greater option for individuals who simply desire a pc for normal computing, a few snapshot enhancing/developing, and so forth. That stated, if I had the cash, I'd purchase probably the most strong Mac I might manage to pay for. The rationale I'd make the transfer is for the reason that in relation to snapshot and film enhancing/rendering the Macs have a tendency to be radically greater. Though Macs are rather much less person pleasant and relatively much less suitable with normal dossier varieties, they're strong machines.

The most trouble free hands down is Apple
The best PC in overall quality is DELL
Remember that each one has there +'s and there -'s
But now you can have the best of both worlds with the newest Mac core 2 duos that have the ability to run both OSX 10.5 and Windows XP or Vista.
I personaly own both seperatly and I use them everyday.

Mac OSX leopard hasent beat vista
Vista hasent beat mac
where vista beats mac
mac beats vista in another way
look at gaming, vista cant run games on normal computers
look at office, and interactave professionally easy to do tasks, and mac has it.
it really isnt a brand name comparison, really
dell is screwed by apple
VOODOO screws everything
it depends on the hardware and the compitance of the user
not the brand name, or the os version

Dell can't represent all of the PC industry, but I still choose Dell. Apple is crap in a box, can't run **** and you don't have all the options that PC's offer.

Apple hands down. it is much more user friendly and you don't have to worry as much about hackers and virus's. I love my iMac, it's such a space saver, I have no tower to worry about and it looks good too.
