I couldn't care less for reality tv in general, but I just saw this article and felt the need to ask your opinions. (Bored insomniac who has run out of REAL news to read!)

Is it particularly wise to slag off your viewers venomously, when they are the ones who will decide the future of your stupid half-baked "reality show"?! DOH!

I kind of get where they are coming from.

They are professionals and it is difficult for them to think outside the box.

They see that the best dancers don't always get rewarded because of the emotional factor and it gets their goat.

Of course they didn't have to be offencive in the way that they spoke; but that is what a class act Britain has come to these days isn't it?!

Speaking eruditely and eloquently would probably have gone over the heads of most of the viewers who have become used to a constant diet of drivel both on TV and in the press.
