Of course, all Canadians really hate Americans. Oh, except for the ones that really love Americans, and of course the whole range of emotions in between, including the ones who are indifferent. In other words, generalizing is rarely accurate or effective.

I must somewhat disagree with you, although you are most likely correct. Canada is self-sufficient and does not rely on the U.S. In fact Canada does quite well on their own. They have a health care program that works with lower cost and the residents seem to be content with the government, and that Queen Elizabeth, II is their monarch; which I personally adore.

The United States as a people actually admire Canada and wish our government worked as well as Canada's. Being in Florida, I enjoy the weather, but aside from that, I would have no issue in moving to Canada. In fact if another republican is voted in office of the President of the United States, I may think strongly in moving there.

Canada is well respected in the world and since the U.S. is not, I would prefer to be somewhere else such as Canada, England or France. I suppose I would like to live in any other country that was not an embarrassment to me. The Administration of our government is an outrage to the people of our country.

Canadians don't hate America or Americans. They often take issue with the United States on some of America's policies, but they don't hate Americans. That's not to say there's not any Canadians who hate Americans, I'm sure there are some, but generally, Canadians are very tolerant people. However, they might feel they're superior to Americans. I've noticed a little of that.

Why would you say that. I am a Canadian and my brother is married to a wonderful American from Texas. Maybe I should ask Why do Americans judge Canadians so harshly are you jealous. Sounds like you are on an ego trip. We are not a country because of the USA. Don't give yourself that much credit. Don't worry we won't curl up and die and give up our way of life if you were dumb enough to stop trading with us. Come down off your high horse. Get a real life and stop pissing off Canadians. Live and let live. Merry Christmas

Au Contraire, mon frere. Canadians get annoyed when Americans think they're all Second-City hosers, but they know they have a lot going for themselves without us.

We cooperate with each other a lot- the Canadians have access to our NICB database and we can access their criminal databases. There's been word of co-locating customs offices for both countries in one building- drive on the east to deal with Canadian Customs, and arrive on the west to go through CBP. Ain't happened yet, but it might.

Canadians don't hate us. And I respect Canadians a lot.

Joyeux Noel and Merry Christmas, eh? ;)

Canada would not be a country without the U.S? Are you serious? The U.S. depends on our natural resources to survive i.e. oil. 90% of our oil shipments go to the United States including lumber, gas, minerals, and agricultural products. You're foreign policy is the reason Americans are internationally hated. Why pick on your best friend. I would think you need all you can get.

I'm Canadian and i Love Americans. You are sooo unlike us, but, in many ways you are exactly like us. We depend on the US, and someday soon, you may depend on us. You know what they say "love thee neighbour"

We dont hate all Americans, only the idiot ones who act like we don't appreciate America because we really do. And for the record Canada is it's own country, we aren't totally dependent on America, in fact we are bigger than America in area. And we do have our own army, you should visit Canada sometime, eh?

I wouldn't call it a hatred, but i think they would like to have a degree of respect for their country and themselves from the US.

They are not USA Minor, they are not USA: Northern Edition.

They are Canada
