Did you just drink the whole thing or empty it into a cup? Then it's empty.

Empty in what way? If you mean empty enough so that you can't drink out of it anymore, then... obviously you won't feel anything. It's pretty hard to make it TOTALLY empty, though, unless you cut the top off and wiped the sides of the can for stray droplets.

Well, you could weigh a known empty soda can. Then weigh yours. If the weights match, yours is also empty.

When you cannot find anything in it, it is empty, or you can determine the type, specific gravity and amount of material used in manufacturing the can to determine tare weight, weigh the can and subtract the tare - if there is a remainder then it is not empty...

If it has been opened, try tipping it with the opening over your
mouth or hand . This seems to be a simple problem unless
to can't move the can.

Best way is to knock on the can. If it makes the
same noise as it does when you knock on your
head --- It's empty.

put the can up to your mouth, tip it back all the way, if nothing pours into your mouth then it's safe to say it's empty.
