Since God loved Lucifer enough to give him so many second chances, that means that He loves him. Lucifer was the second to Him. Since it is well known that Lucifer still loves God, wouldn't it be considered instant salvation if he just repented and allowed himself to be christened back into Heaven? The only thing that he did was get jealous. He got jealous of man. If you wana get technical, we are the same as angels, except we have no wings, God endowed both humans and angels alike with free will, Lucifer loved Him unconditionally. He got a little jealous because He spent a little more time with man rather than gazing on Lucifer himself. If Lucifer was all that evil, then God could have at that time, uncreated him. Since God is omnipotent, couldn't he have just gotten rid of Lucifer? If Lucifer realizes his folly and repents, what would happen? Would the balance of good and evil shift? Would there be a new ruler of Tartarus, and new Satan? Would God walk with us again?

God did love Satan but he is also just in his decisions. Jesus has already made slavation posible so man will always have a chance. Satan was not the second to God.Satan did not get a little jealous he got cocky and decided he could rule humans better himself. He wanted our service for himself. It was not a jealousy between God and man. Satan does not have a chance even if he repented he has already done to much damage. He has slandered God name and think of the millions of years of things that have gone on. In the end all evil will be wiped out. There will be no new satan.

Good question, but your answer is no. The Bible says, I wish I knew the verse but I don't, but it says that when someone is shown the truth and learns it then turns away, then that person is not welcomed back into salvation. And Satan will never want to go back because he thinks he's better than God.

God can do anything, God could have reversed time and Lucifer's creation. Lucifer thinks that he is stronger than God, but as well all know, Jesus will crush him with one blow of his breath. But Lucifer knew the truth and left it, therefore he is no longer welcome into the Kingdom of Heaven.

God did not give Satan so many second chances. If God did destroy Satan then the other angels would just follow him because they would be scared, that if they did something wrong, then God would destroy them. But he let us choose. He is loving, He wants people to really, truly believe in Him because of love. Not a threat.

Then Jesus died on the cross for our sins. So we wouldn't die, but now we can ask forgiveness.

God gave us free will, there would always be someone with the will to defy God. It's why He's God. He knows this and still gives us free will.

this is not a philosophical question

it is my belief that "god"and "lucifer" are both aspects of the mental self or psyche that have been personified in an attempt to better understand them.

the "fall of lucifer" is actually the rise of the ego.

Matthew 4:1-4 explicitly mentions the Devil, so saying he isn't as real as God is silly.

"Then (following his baptism) was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward hungry. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

It's really a moot point, since as far as anyone knows, the Devil and God BOTH don't exist, as there is no empirical evidence to support them.

God and Satan are bronze age myths. Neither exists. Even if they existed which they most certainly do not - would it be possible to psycho analyze God or Satan? There's no telling what they would do.

This is not a philosophy question - try R&S or Mythology.
