Yes, I asked a serious question. I had one word misspelled. That one word became the issue of response more than the actual question. Then for some reason ... the question was deleted.
I am relatively new on Answers. I have seen some really offensive questions. I do not see how my question was any more or less offensive than those. Someone reported mine to be deleted. Obviously, It struck a note with someone, that was my goal, to make people think.

I think that happens to all of us. Two reasons.
Some of the questions are so stupid that they
don't deserve a serious reply. And again some
of the answers are so stupid people jump all
over them.
Some people get involved in Yahoo answers
simply to stir up hate and discontent.

Yes, to the point where I got a email where they said the most insulting things because of my stand.
If I disagree with your stand, I will never disrespect it. I may point out flaws with the reasoning or rationale, but i will not abuse you for it.

Oh yes, mostly pertaining to my support for the war in Iraq and my obvious dislike for Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.
