Perhaps? Depends on why you describe them as ignorant. Not all insecure or mentally ill people are unfortunately like this. This is called prejudice and stereotyping. Society puts labels on certain 'groups' or 'types' and it's grossly inaccurate and unfair. Are all fat people lazy? Thin people anorexic? blonds stupid? OF COURSE NOT! Peoples backgrounds and upbringing, life experiences are more likely the reasons i imagine. well done for asking as it means you are willing to investigate and have a mind of your own.

Depends lol...
Sometimes people who don't care about anything just means that they're fed up with this world... Probably cause they don't receive any kind treatment from anybody so they're actually quite pitiful...
Or they simply can't be bothered about their future anymore, they just want to enjoy themselves...
But about feeling bad inside... Not really but may be too but they just don't want to show it...
