when i was a kid, my parents always told me he was just a pretend guy. (not real). so i never believed in him. therefore i never had to learn that he wasn't real. if you believed in santa, how old were you when you found out he wasn't real and how did you feel about that?

I never believed in Santa.
My parents told me from the beginning the real reason for
Christmas which is the birth of Jesus Christ.
I don't do Santa with my son's.
I wish I knew how parents explained how Santa fits through the chimney and all the other questions they probably have.
If my son's believed in Santa I am sure they would be confused as to why Santa's look different, from mall to mall and in the movies and why some are African American and some are Caucasian.

I did as a kid, but found out fairly young that he wasn`t a real person, maybe 6 or 7. I still like to think he`s real as an ideology, such as the gift of giving, or helping those less fortunate. To me, he`s the Christmas spirit.

I found out Santa wasn't real when I was about 8 or 9...my mother dropped the bomb on me. She told me he was fake, the Easter Bunny was fake and the Tooth fairy didn't exist...

I was pretty upset and overwhelmed.

I BELIEVE in Santa, and I'm 70 years young. It's sad to see people who don't. We can all be a bit of a Santa if we're willing to look around, see who needs help and provide what we're capable of.
