I remember simple african amiercans like Nippsey Russell, Flip Wilson, etc who knew their places in society. It now seems you have these Uppity african americans who think they know everything and are smarter than everyone else. Am I correct, or not?

Thanks - Merry Christmas!

They are intelligent people who happen to be African Americans. If they are uppity, then all of the folk who are famous for whatever reason, are of that same status. What's good for the "goose is indeed good for the gander." I wish you well. What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, WHO can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. - Peace, Love and God Bless.

If this were the 1950s, yes. However, it is not, all are equal, and they can only be perceived as uppity for stating their beliefs (whether or not it makes sense is another concept) by ego maniacs.

Did you really think hard on that and search you brain to find that word "uppity"?
I haven't heard that for ages, and really thought it wasn't a word anymore.
Shall we call it the Obarah team?

I never liked Obama from the very start. I always liked Oprah, but now I don't think to much of her anymore. If she'd campaign with a thing like him, then I think I've totally misjudged her as well.

yes, you forgot Jesse Jackson, lol

Whereas we know that only you know everything and are smarter than everyone else. Have you done so little for the world that you have to rely on racism to make yourself feel good?

You're welcome and have a happy new year.
