Is it true that women have to do a genealogical exam every year? Where the doctor inserts a 'speculum' into the vagina to check if everything is alright?

Im just shy to ask any girls I know
Please clarify for me... I know it can be embarracing but I wana know.... Im a guy btw :)

Yep....when a girl reaches 18 or becomes sexually active....whichever is first.

yes, it is true that women after the age of 18 or 20 do go to the doctor for yearly pelvic exams. it is gynecological - not genealogical. The doctor checks for several things, regular menstrual cycles, cancer and other things.

Yes, that is true. Women are supposed to see their gynecologists every year. They do a test called a PAP smear which checks for cancerous cells and they also check your breasts. Very thorough exam and not fun, but worthwhile.
