In 2003, the entire northeastern part of the country was without power. Turned out to be a bad grid in Lansing, Michigan...yeah, right!

I was at a native american sundance, we put the center poll in at about the same time the black out hit. i didnt find out about the black out until i got back to society 6 days later. because at a sundance we have no electricity, tv, papers radio. it is just good people and nature.
I was so excited when i heard of the blackout. the beginning is coming.

There was a Blackout in 2003 not where I live. (in Texas.)

Funny thing is, that it didn't affect anything where I live so I didn't even know anything about it until a day later......I had young kids at the time, so I didn't watch TV or the news.....I think thats probably the only time our electric didn't go out that year, seriously....which is really weird....
I live in Central Ohio....so kinda close too.....but it didn't affect anything in my area...mainly NW Ohio I think....
