I can't play hardly any games on my computer because games like ( The Sims 2 , NFL Madden 2008 ) are all PCDVD and not compatiable with PC Regular CD-ROMS

If your computer is old enough to not have a DVD drive, then it won't be powerful enough to play these new games either. But, if by some chance it is fast enough, you could install a new IDE DVD writer for under $50. Or if you ask around, someone will probably give you an old IDE DVD reader.

Games got large enough that putting them on CD meant spreading them across upwards of 6 disks. Considering blank CDs and blank DVDs are basically the same price, and every new computer sold in the last...like 5 years...has had a DVD drive in it, it made sense to not use CDs anymore.
