"The philosopher asks and says more and more about less and less; while the scientist asks and says less and less about more and more." needs explaining with respect to the focus of the Q which is the difference between the Q's Can you spell it out with less vague words. For example are you referring to the scope of the Q's, the scope and focus of the A's to the Q? Try coming up with an example or two and that would help bring out what you mean or meant.

A scientific question seeks an answer by the application of theory, prior knowledge, observation, and experiment. A philosophical question seeks an answer science is not expected to provide.

A scientific question about the physical sun wants an answer, for its temperature, size, number of light waves etc; in the outside world of man.

A philosophical question uses the physical sun as an analogy to ponder the warmth of love; the size of the human heart, the variety of thoughts etc that affect the inside, or thinking part, of man.

While a philosophic question would give the chance for debate and different points of views,scientific questions would be based on giving proof ad facts not ideas.Besides they take different fields,example:Philosphy takes Ethics,etc.Science takes Physichs,etc
