I'm wearing a dark grey v-neck sweater over a dark blue dress shirt...should I wear khakis or black pants?

Also, should I completely pop the collar out or leave it in?

It's for an interview.

There's this dumb fashion guideline that says never wear Navy Blue with Black. I honestly don't care, but I think khakis would look nicer. Hmm...definitely leave it in.

the khakis would be better. If you had a different colored shirt, the grey sweater and black pants are OK. but the blue would be strange.

never wear a popped collar to an interview. that looks sloppy.

im thinking khakis because black doesnt match grey and dark blue well at all. and noo leave collar over the sweater but dont pop it....well you should be able to tell if it looks good. use your common sense and judgement.

Black pants with black shoes. Ya poping the collar out would look sharp.
