Should I tell my fiance' that my last relationship was with a co-worker? When I'm going thru work issues related with this past relationship- I feel as if I'm keeping Secrets by not telling my fiance' the entire story- I want to leave this job and sometimes feel that's when I should bring up the subject... My fiance' has been very open about his past relationships and at the time I wasn't ready to tell him because I was worried that he would be paranoid about the co worker.

My wife and I knew each other for 7 yrs before we dated and fell in love. So I know about lots of her former boy friends. But she has never told me about their relationships, or about any relationship that I didn't know about. I don't know why she didn't marry her fiance that she dated her last 3 yrs of college. I don't know who was her first sexual partner. I don't know which of her bf she was sexual with. I have asked her, but her answer was "That was before YOU. And since you, it has been ONLY you." That was good enough with me. Telling your fiance or not telling him, is up to you. Whoever was your last relationship, it didn't work. And now you are with your fiance. That's really all that is important for him to know.

Always tell the complete story cause trust me he will think you were hiding something on purpose. He should know everything so you can have a very trusting relationship. Expecially since i'm assuming you still work with the ex.

Yes! Secrets ALWAYS get out. You owe it to your fiance' he, obviously feels confident in your relationship to share his past - you should too. Don't start your life together with "secrets".

u don't have to tell everything especially if it has nothing to do with your present relationship. i wouldn't say a thing, and if u don't want to work there change jobs, but chances are if u tell him your ex works with u its going to cause him to feel insecure.
