I think it's wrong. Flirting is usually used to lure someone of the opposite sex. How does that person know whether you're just being playful or actually flirting (luring them)? Someone might think that you have a genuine interest in them and when they find out otherwise, could get their heart broken. Even if it's just on here, it can still hurt someone, including your significant other. A lot of people start relationships long distance and over the computer. So just be careful.
Also, take into consideration how you would feel if your signifcant other was doing the same. What if they were flirting with others over the internet?

I think flirting anywhere in any way is wrong. I guess I am a little sore about this since my husband began flirting some time ago, I let it go (tried not to make a mountain out of a mole hill) and now he wants a divorce. He says he just doesn't like being married anymore.

It depends what's in your mind! I'm a flirt, always have been always will be, my other knows that and really doesn't mind, I flirt with men, women children, everyone. But I have never ever been unfaithful in thought or deed and I never will be.
So, in your mind if you are doing something wrong that you know your significant other would object to then it is dishonest and that is harmful to yourself and your relationship. However, if, in your own mind it is harmless fun and you would share it with your other half then its fine!

Ah... YES, I personally think it is. The fact that you're asking kind of proves my point... if it was harmless you wouldn't even be wondering whether it's wrong or not.
Just think about this... would you still do it if your significant other was sitting next to you by the computer watching how you do it? If you'd feel uncomfortable doing it in that situation, then it is wrong.

I also think it is totally harmless, as is most flirtation. Having said that, I wouldn't want my girlfriend peeking over my shoulder if I was being a flirt in an online forum...

You could be flirting with a Rapist or Murdering Child Molester for all you know. Was your significant other in the PEN when you met as PEN PALS ?

I think it takes time from the significant other. I think you could find more fun things to do with him then stare at a computer screen.

Yep. Unequivocally.
Instead, go to your mate there in the LazyBoy, lean down into his or her ear, and whisper all those flirty things in his or her ear. It's a lot more fun and cheaper than the lawyer you'll need when he or she catches you flirting online.

Depends.
Does your significant other know? If he does and he is okay with it then no there is nothing wrong with it. If you hide it from him then yes.
So what I am saying is this. If you would do it in public right in his face and he would be okay with it then flirting on line is okay.

Flirting is basically harmless unless you act on it.
