My kids have watched Jamie for years. And, I've absolutely felt 100% certain that she would get pregnant before she was 18.

What the hell is this about the history of the family? OK yes Britney has had the roughest year so far but geeze how many people in this world haven't hit a rough patch in their life? It just so happens hers is brodcast all over the world. Before that what was wrong with this family? And i do feel bad for Jamie Lynn it was a mistake but she is handling it very maturely.

Yea i gotta admit that i was shocked when read that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant. It was more shocking to me than suprising. Britneys little sister always seemed to be the more level-headed one. Well she isnt the first 16 year old teenage girl to get pregnant and she wont be the last. Young girls get pregnant and have babies everyday. Theres so many teenage mothers out there.

It's not too surprising although I didn't know too much about her, like how long she was dating the father! The mother probably knew too but didn't care or wasn't thinking? I'm a fan of Britney (well I like her music) but I never watched Jamie's show. It's a shocker still with any 16 year old getting herself in that situation. So young.

I wouldn't let someone's family history determine what they are gonna become. Its the choices that people choose that determine who they are. As for being surprised not really, what surprises me is the reaction people have because she is 16 but there are alot of non-famous 16 year olds and younger that are getting pregnant. Parents just need to talk to kids, and about more than just abstinence.

i don't think its anyone's concern ,questioning jamie lynn spear's pregnancy.she has her own life,we are not her gaurdians.if lynn is the sister of the famous popster of the nation,its not her fault that the media is flashing her personal life in the papers.after all its not anyone's hobby to get pregnant,lynn must have her own reasons.

No surprise at all. Morals seem to get flushed when one puts fame or money ahead of being a strong head of family. Obviously Mom is a looser and now has two looser daughters.

I think her actions are directly correlated with her sisters behavior.. and I do believe britney should take some of the blame.. I almost feel sorry for jaime lynn

What is the big deal'?? jsut beacase of who she is?? There are thousands of teens that get pregnant all the time why the hell are they making a deal out of it now?worry when your little daughter get pregnant and has no where to turn too.
