If you have a sort of flat nose, how much does that affect your appearance. Is that like a minor setback, preferable, doesn't matter, ugly, super ugly, etc;

I know it's wierd that this is like a close up of my nose and stuff, but i didn't want to post a pic online so, yeah. And it also looks wierd cause I had to stretch out the pic.

I think your nose is A-OK. Actually, your nose wasn't the first thing I looked at in your pic. You have a nice angular (but not "too-long" face) with a cute tapered chin and from the pic seem to have like smooth lifted cheekbones. A broad flat nose--which you don't have--can sometimes be unflattering on a broad flat face---but since you have neither of those characteristics, don't worry.
I suspect a lot of girls obsess over their noses because the nose is the focal point of the face....and young females do spend a lot of time evaluating themselves in the mirror. If you're looking at yourself critically and stare into the mirror too long--searching for flaws--you will "find" them, even if they aren't there.
Does this make any sense???
Have a great one!

Very, very low importance. A nose is a nose is a nose. Don't waste any pain and money on a nose job. Come to think of it, about the only common cosmetic procedures that I have ever seen worth it are facelifts and orthodontia; anything else is just a waste, waste, waste. If you get super severe acne it might possibly also be worth getting that treated. But don't mess with the nose.
The thing about noses is that you forget about them too soon. Like the first time you look at a face you might think about the nose a little and generally a small nose looks better than a big nose. But by the second or third time you look at the same face it doesn't make any difference. Small, big who cares they look just as good.
What's a little different about severe acne, wrinkles, and gnarly teeth is that on some level they look like contageous disease symptoms and they cause a person (I believe) to have natural aversions as an instinctive self-protection mechanism.

I just live with it. It doesn't affect my daily life. I have other great features that makes up for what I dislike about my nose. And no you're not ugly... It's just a societal thing that straight nose makes you attractive and flat noses are a flaw. Wrong!

i mean it isn't that bad at all. there are way uglier features you could have, and nobody really cares about your nose, as long as you don't like pick it or something! trust me, noses aren't bad at all, and if you really hate it is the future, then get a nose job. there are ways to fix it if you hate it, but really, noses don't matter much! hope that helped!
