what name did you give your computer in the network settings, and which of you left it default or just don't know?

Desktop = Machina, latin for Machine.
Other Desktop = Hydra, multi headed computer.
Server = BFC9000, The DOOM gun BFG9000 is where I took this name from, because the case is huge on the server.

I gave my computer the name "smoothstoneserv" because Smooth Stone Services is the name of the computer / web design company I own.

it really doesnt matter what you call it, unless you have like 100 computers on a network where you would need to know unique names of the computers.

We gave it the first Initials of my husband's and my first name.

I made it my first name followed by laptop or desktop.

its our family computer so we put our last name then familys computer
