Who Knows for sure why the reason for having a quite time on yahoo answers, here are my reasons you could agree or disagree with me.
People doing last minute Christmas shopping
Waiting at airports for their daughters and sons who are coming home from Iraq and Iran.
Family coming to comiing town
or working extra hrs to help pay the after Christmas credit card bills off
and there are many more.

Yeah ... I guess so .... Seems like people are still out shopping, making merry & doing the nog thing.

I'm in my little cardboard house trying to make fun with my peeps.
