Yes, one is spelled with an "O" and the other is spelled with a "U". The one spelled with the "O" is the correct spelling.

Other than the letters....
I love you is more formal and traditional, love ya seems more playful and luv ya seems like a quickie.

Yeah. the "I love you" makes it sound like your serious and mean it. Saying "Luv Ya" makes you sound like ur saying it just for fun b/c ur a bubbly person.
Ya, that's just me though. =)

i love you is more sincere
and love ya does not have as much of an impact

I prefer 'I love you.'
I don't know why, I just do. So maybe there is a difference.
