A thank you, hand shake or a kiss on the cheek? If she did one of these 3, what would her thoughts of the married male be with each type of thank you?

this ins't difficult "thanks for the ride home, and tell your wife i said hi" then go in the house and shut the door. it's a ride home, not a date there is no call for anything else there

A simple thank you with no body contact. That would be awkward.

Why would a kiss even enter the picture anyway? It is a lift from a married man who is not a close friend, member of her family, or her husband. Even a handshake can be taken as a sign of familiarity.

A thank you is just a courtesy, a hand shake is just a courtesy, a kiss on the cheek is an open invitation!

A simple "thank you" with no physical contact is more than enough! If she did the kiss on the cheek, I'd think she was a sl*t hinting around that she wanted more physical contact.

Depends. I would just say, "Thanks," and get out. If it's a brother-in-law, maybe a kiss on the cheek would be ok. I don't know I am not really a touchy feely person, unless it is my husband. I know some cultures and some people are just more affectionate and, well, touchy.

She shouldn't take a ride home from him and he shouldn't offer.

A thank you would suggest a human helping another human.
A handshake seems like keeping things professional.
A kiss on the check....well... most be interpreted as an invitation for something more.

She should look the man square in the eye and say a heartfelt, "Thank you." Then she should put her bra and shirt back on and get out of the car. :-)

A thank you is more than enough, unless you install a cab meter, and then you owe cab fare and a tip

Well, she could sleep with him, like the married woman I took home did. My, oh my, was that ever sweet!

Of course, she was my wife... };^)
