Of course they can!
Look at gillian murphy's hair.
She is a principal at American Ballet Theatre, and a very talented dancer.
Your hair color is not a deciding factor on whether you can dance professionally and become a prima ballerina.

It's about the quality of the dance not the color of ones hair. Oh course you can be a Prima Ballerina...With all the hard work you put into your dance you shouldn't even have to worry about the color of your hair.

Maya Plisetskaya has red hair and she was Prima Ballerina of Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
It's a joke, right?
Besides, hair can be colored. When people ask me what is my natural hair color I say I don't remember.

Don't doubt yourself. If you're talented, you will go far. Your hair color matters just about as much as your third cousins name. In casting for a production (like the Nutcracker), hair color might matter as it is not just dancing, but acting as well. I am a dancer, but barely talented, and wish I was. Be the dancer I could never be. Never give up your dreams.

um.. duh. My dance teacher has red hair and danced with ABT and Joffery Ballet. Another one of my teachers is a famous ballroom/jazz/hiphop teacher with bright red hair. Also one of the best dancers ever to graduate from my studio who has gone on to do really well is a red head. RED HEAD POWER!!
