Okay, there is this girl on my dance team who I hang out with a lot, but we go to different schools so I had never met her other friends before, but the other day I she invited me to go to the mall with her and her school friends and I found out that most of her friends smoke, she doesnt but she did used to cut herself. Also they didnt smoke while I was there, but they were talking about it. I go to a Catholic school so I have never come across anything like this before so I dont know what to do, should I just not hang out with her outside of dance again, but I have fun hanging out with her, but am afraid of having that kind of stuff enter my life.

You can still hang out with her outside of class, but maybe not with her other friends if they are bad influence. But if her friends don't pressure you into smoking and don't do it around you, than maybe you can still hang out with them. It's up to you. But I think you're smart to not want to have that kind of negative aspects in your life. :)

Smart! Don't ever smoke! I've smoked for years and it's TOUGH to quit, smells bad and wastes money.
