We always have an orange, an apple, candy canes, so sweets (candy), chocolate money, shiny coins (vinegar works well to make them shiny), for women - something sparkly like a piece of costume jewelery (something inexpensive but pretty). I like finding a little Christmas decoration - soemthing I can keep and use. My mother has always put a toothbrush in ours. Fun stationary - fluffy topped pens, pens with bubbles in them, fun pencil sharpeners and erasers etc. Bubbles - the kind you blow are always fun - especially the touchabubbles. Travel sized toileteries. Then what we do is we hit the £shops, reduced shelves. I know this tip is a bit late but I start shopping for stocking fillers as soon as I get to the UK from camp - that way you can get great bargains.

I love stocking stuffers so heres a list:
baby powder
shampoo
shaving cream
toothbrushes
make-up
candy-kisses, heresy nuggets, any kind of individual stuff
Cd's-depending on size of stocking
deodorant
Hair stuff(Barrett's, etc)
gift cards.
candy canes
liquor nips(Min liquor bottles)
lighters(people still smoke in my family)
Jewelry(I go to Claires and go nuts)
toothpaste
mouthwash
I go to the supermarket and buy all of that little stuff-not full bottels of shampoo, etc. At most the cost $-2. You can also find a lot of good stuff at Drug stores like CVS. Hope this helps. Happy Christmas.

What I've always put in my children's stocking and what I remember that my Mom put in ours was always an orange and an apple...she almost always orders hers from the local FFA who sold them for fund-raising every year, but I have always gotten mine in the produce section..The Walmart in our area has some nice big ones and here on sale or rollback price too!..I also always put in different mixed nuts including peanuts in the shells in there, those Life-Saver books or the like and I'm sure the Dollar-type stores will have these, but so does Walmart...There were years that I would wrap individual pairs of socks and toss them in...a candy cane and some other candy, like the Reese's and Hershey's Kisses and that's about it..I don't usually put in very costly things in there, cuz they have enough under the tree, but sometimes little inexpensive trinkets or stuffed toy that fills it out..Good luck with this..Please let me wish you and all those you love a Very Merry Christmas and a Holiday Season that is jam-packed with Beautiful, Loving, PEACEful and Heart-Warming moments...;0)

If you are planning to have everyone over for Christmas, how about some disposable cameras, so everyone will have some memories of Christmas 2007?
