This is a very nice community. I have lived here since 1990. Is there anything I can use to help because the company they are using is not helping at all. If you don't pay your rent on time, they will give you a three day eviction notice. I have been late only one time and that's when I was laid off and I received a three day eviction notice. Keep in mind I have been here since 1990 and it is not fair to live in roaches.

Hmm well usually I would complain to them that roaches are certainly not part of the deal and they need to be taken care of. However, if they really exterminate every two weeks, that certainly is very often. If you can handle the short wait it would probably be best if you did wait until the next round and when they are doing the pesticides specifically ask them to work on getting rid of the roach problem. That would be the least painless solution on your part.

Just make sure that they specifically work on cleaning out your place.

Good luck

P.S. it is not illegal to give an eviction notice less than 30 days. That is specifically up to each state, and some allow for as little as a week or even 3 days as in your situation. (it couldn't hurt to double check your state's laws to see what their minimum is).

you, I assume, already clean excessively.

while there are plenty of over the counter roach baits, they'll accomplish nothing if the apartment next door is heavily infested because a new crop of roaches will invade your apt. every night.

most cities and states have a health board or building department or similar. call them and complain. ask for an inspector to be sent out. ask the inspector to set traps and collect specimens [roach corpses].

if the inspector finds what you say you have, he'll issue the landlord an order to either clean it up or close the building down. landlords hate closing the building down as they stop receiving rent but their mortgage payments do not stop.

my guess is that the management company isn't telling the actual owners anything. you need to get the attention of the actual owners and the health board's complaint ought to do that.

[the management company, in my humble opinion, needs to be fired.]

It is illegal to give less than 30 days eviction notice. As for the roach spraying, every 2 weeks sounds reasonable. If you are unhappy there, move elsewhere, simple as that.

Roach control is not completely controllable by management. I suggest that you investigate measures you can take yourself to assist in keeping these creatures under control and at bay. Most are quite inexpensive and are very effective.

Roaches make the apartment unliveable. Contact your city's board that deals with such things.

If you live in California you can move out if you want.
