If you go back to pursue a second bachelor's degree from the same school, you will not be required to take your General Education requirements again. It's best for you to discuss this with your academic adviser. Are you planning to pursue child development as a career? Your business administration degree may come in handy if you start your own practice some day.

However, if you decide to go straight into a graduate program, keep in mind that if you haven't taken the lower division child development courses, you will most likely be required to take the prerequisite courses in order to take the graduate level courses.

Best wishes!

Yes, like the previous poster said, it would only require another two years because you've already done the general requirements. There might be minor differences in some of the general requirements that the other degree requires though. You might have to take an additional math/science/etc. general requirement that your current major did not require. Doublecheck the catalog.

It is stupid to go back and get another bachelor's degree. Apply to master's programs.
