Yes I would. Just something I learned from my parents. We always had people over for the holidays and if we did not learn of someone from church, my mother would call out to the army base and talk to a chaplain or someone to invite a few GI's over for dinner. I actually even met a woman stationed there online and gave her my mother's phone number because she had just gotten there and did not know a soul. She actually went and had dinner with my mother and they had a great time. Made me feel really good to be the instigator in a tradition started by my dear mother.

yes, I willingly would!
Christmas is the time for loving and sharing Godly blessings.
Remember the time when Mary and Joseph had no home to welcome them though these people knew that Mary is giving birth to a child?
And they didn't know that this child will be the most important child that will ever live, and they just ignored the fact that they were being bothered by their conscience, BECAUSE OF MONEY!
And this one is not a good example to follow..
Remember that Jesus wants everybody of us to be happy especially those who haven't been, for the rest of their lives..
of ever so, only a little bit..
Oh common,! Christmas is the time for sharing and loving..
Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year to all!
God bless us!

Yes, we actually have someone like that. They've come to my parent's the last 2 or 3 years, now they are just like part of the family. No one should be alone on Christmas!

I think I would, but then again I would be afraid because you not know the person's character and what past things they have done? Yes, I would want to help them, but I would be a little concerned has to how far I would go to help them out?

My sister's boyfriend actually has no family, and this time of year is very difficult for him. I don't think he is coming over... I think she is gonna go over. But yeah, if I knew someone and he or she didn't have anyone to spend the holidays with, they'd be more than welcome to come spend them with me. I could use the company as well.

Yes. We have several times, actually, and they haven't shown, which makes me sad. I hope they know the door is open and the house may be a tad bit cluttered, but IT IS clean!

Yes.
It actually happens quite a bit in my household...I seem to have all these people come and I treat them like my family...It is fun. I like having a house others find relaxing and homey.
